I don’t see how telling people that God loved you when you didn’t deserve it and has given you a means whereby you may be saved is forcing religion on anyone. I think it’s offering hope to a dead world. Still, if you had the antidote to save a room full of poison victims, even if they didn’t believe they were poisoned, you might try to force it down some throats.
I do not apologize for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
yes, this is what I’m talking about
love you to death allison, but this is some flawed logic right here.
the OP’s post uses a metaphor, so allow me to use a silly one to point out just how fucked up that is. that’s like me saying, since i’m a nonbeliever, “Still, if you had knew what everyone around you was wrong, and you knew the right thing, you might try to educate them.” No. Right there, THAT, is preaching. That isn’t accepting of differing opinions. It’s downright discriminatory, in fact. I don’t have a problem with religion, I just have a problem with religious people who refuse to accept that there are people who don’t believe in the things they believe in. To point, I’ve never met anyone who WASN’T religious who tried to preach anti-religion to religious people.
Sorry for the poorly worded rant, i’ve been playing skyrim all weekend. This has been a post.
cautiously, I allowed myself to feel good at times. I found moments of peace in cheap rooms just staring at the knobs of some dresser or listening to the rain in the dark. the less I needed the better I felt.
